Mallory Lennon

Mallory Lennon Bio

Better look and listen now so one day you can boast to friends that you discovered the remarkable musicianship and performance charm of Mallory "way back when." Think Adele back on Myspace in 2006 or John Mayer when he was still perfecting augmented sevenths at Berklee College. That's how great the potential of this supremely gifted young singer/songwriter is. Say you want an evolution, Mallory has already recorded a keyboard full of original songs with Chicago rock icon Jim Peterik at his spawning Lennon's Den Studio in Burr Ridge during sessions that also featured Liberty DeVitto, long-time drummer for Billy Joel. Those hours produced her current signature "Revolution in Me," a song up on iTunes and the centerpiece of a Peterik-produced video released last winter. She was also marqueed on the Bing Showcase Stage at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, and as a wee lass, helped take Manhattan as a member of a traveling ensemble at Carnegie Hall. Evocative, enveloping and with a voice that can soothe or shake 'em down, Mallory and her music float effortlessly from college-age muse to crisp craftswoman for a new generation of keenly entertaining sound.
